Meet Misty
Misty Vicente, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care with a focus on helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Raised in Star Valley, Wyoming, Misty developed a passion for caring for others and a deep appreciation for connection, community, and the outdoors. Her love for nature brought her to Southern Oregon, where she now calls Grants Pass her home.
Misty earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Wyoming. She began her nursing career in 2020, gaining experience in long-term care and OB/GYN before transitioning into advanced practice. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in primary care, developing a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine, preventative care, wellness, lifestyle-focused medicine, and women’s health. Her background in comprehensive healthcare allows her to approach esthetic medicine with a focus on patient safety, anatomy, individualized treatment plans, and a thorough understanding of each patient’s overall health and goals. Misty believes the best esthetic outcomes come from combining medical expertise with an artistic eye and a thoughtful understanding of what makes each person unique.
Misty’s passion for medical esthetics developed from her desire to help patients enhance their natural features, restore confidence, and feel like the best version of themselves. She believes that aging is a natural and beautiful part of life, and esthetic treatments should be used to complement a person’s individual features rather than change who they are. Her philosophy centers around natural-looking results, subtle enhancements, and creating treatment plans that help patients feel refreshed, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. She also enjoys working collaboratively with patients to understand their concerns, educate them about their options, and develop a personalized approach that aligns with their goals.
Misty is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, and exploring the beauty of Southern Oregon with her dog, Coco. She loves the color pink, listening to Taylor Swift, and finding joy in the little moments that make life meaningful.
